Basic Safety
Help the trainees understand the basics of safety and environmental protection in general, and inland waterway environmental protection in particular; have a firm grasp and adopt good practice of safety techniques while working on vessels; be able to carry out tasks related to oil leak, contamination by oil and chemicals, fire and explosion, lifesaving, breach blocking; give first and emergency aid to victims.
Ship Security
The Ship Security trainning course intended to help the trainees understand the basics knowledge to enhance maritime security awareness by recognising security risk, threat and vulnerability to the ship, its personnel, cargo and operations, and understanding the need for and methods of maintaining security awareness and vigilance. Then, the trainee able to maintain the effectiveness of security arrangements, procedures and equipment at the three security levels, taking into account their limitations.
Passenger Management
This type of training is presently only directed towards staff onboard passenger vessels and ro-ro passenger vessels. The goal of the course is to equip the trainee with knowledge of control a crowd in an emergency situation and locate essential safety and emergency equipment on board, and communicate effectively with passengers during an emergency. Then, the trainee will be able to act and react during any type of crisis situation would benefit from having learnt more about human behaviour under stress and in difficult situations, as well as leadership and guidance under such circumstances.
Safety Working
This training course provides seafarers and staff working on board with the knowledge about Risks on board, Protective and safety equipments, Safety symbols, and case study of Safety working onboard.
